Viedma tambi\u00e9n ha liderado la direcci\u00f3n de Mantenimiento y CAPEX de Votorantim Cimentos Europa, Asia y \u00c1frica, donde se incorpor\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Ingeniero industrial, cuenta con un MBA y una experiencia en la industria cementera de m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os. Adem\u00e1s de en Espa\u00f1a, ha trabajado en Portugal, Francia, Italia, Turqu\u00eda, Egipto, Marruecos, T\u00fanez e India.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo responsable de la f\u00e1brica de M\u00e1laga sustituye a Enrique \u00c1lvarez-Cascos, que se jubila tras m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os al frente de la planta malague\u00f1a. Entre los retos que deber\u00e1 acometer Pablo Viedma destaca la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de la actividad, abord\u00e1ndolo desde distintos frentes: promoviendo la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y el uso de energ\u00edas renovables, fomentando la econom\u00eda circular, gracias a la utilizaci\u00f3n de materias y combustibles alternativos, fabricando cementos con menor huella de carbono y apostando por la incorporaci\u00f3n de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstoy muy ilusionado con el reto que Votorantim Cimentos me ha planteado. Afronto esta etapa con gran entusiasmo y el firme compromiso de avanzar en la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de nuestra actividad, contribuyendo a la meta de producir hormig\u00f3n neutro en carbono en 2050.
